crab legs a little on the skinny side

Small take out spot, no dining in. It's a little hole in the wall spot but sometimes those are the best ones. They have decent prices as well. They have shrimp and crab with Old Bay seasoning which made me decide to come here. They have fried crab and shrimp, I'm really thinking about trying that. Never had fried crab before. There was only one guy working, so it took forever for my order. I decided to get the fried snow crab and shrimp combo with lobster on side....and I must say...it was worth the wait....damn good place....

Wow wow wow. I just waited almost an hour for "live blue crabs," but when I got home they were all dead. I found it strange that the employee and owner did not weighing the crabs in front of me and instead hide them while putting them in the bag. I was charged for 3 lbs. but the young man "and owner who was there" was not even able to tell me how many crabs they put in the bag. WTF. I can't stand business owners that are deceptive and not honest with their customers. Just keep it real and let me know that you don't have live crabs available today - don't lie and tell me that you do and fill the bag with 10 dead crabs. I will NOT ever go to this place again. The service is horrible with a confused young man who seems "high" and an angry owner who continues to harass, humiliate, and yell at his employees in front of customers. Again WTF.

I recently purchased and redeemed a groupon for Tali's restaurant. When I arrived at this "restaurant" I was absolutely appalled by the cleanliness, preparation practices, and overall presentation of this establishment and couldn't understand how it made its ways to being advertised on groupon's site. Certainly Tali's owners have no regard for their customers, but simply making $. As a result I have advised my family, colleagues and friends that I often suggest offers too as well not to purchase from your establishment. Clean up and show some respect for the customers that spend their hard earned money in your "restaurant" I wish I would have taken pictures to show how filthy, unsanitary and disrespectful you all are to consumers. Very Disappointed!

Ok so I just went here after I got the groupon and I got the blue crab and shrimp (3) shrimp that was not already peeled, and egg and corn 4 tons of butter. We had to ask for some extra food when we were leaving cause the bag was soooo light. They have what they called the lunch special shrimp which was 6 shrimp. And lobster Mac and cheese which only filled up 1/3 of the container. I will never be going back. I had to stop at snappers to get more food cause for so called $25 worth of food, it's totally not worth it, I still had to pay like a $1 extra from what the groupon didn't cover. Food was ok but not competitive at all.

This is a take out restaurant, hole in the wall in a small strip mall. It looks like they pre-cook the food in the morning then portion it out in Styrofoam containers. When you order, they squirt some butter and ask you for hot, medium or mild Cajun seasoning. Then they microwave it. They also have several fried options. I was a little skeptical but it tasted surprisingly good. I guess If you throw enough butter and Cajun seasoning on anything it will taste good. I also tried their hangover seafood, corn chowder soup which was fantastic. Everything tasted fresh and didn't smell bad. I'll definitely stop by again.

The groupon really sucks you in. My husband bought a sausage link for a $1 and it was not a full sausage, it was cut and half, chewy and not edible. My blue crabs seemed old and the best thing on my plate was the fries. Don't Do It. The neighborhood is pretty scary too.

Flavor was good for not being cooked to order. The man who took my order was extremely rude. First time there I was trying to figure out what portion was best for me and my wife. I just got enough for her and was out of there. He should have been pleased to answer my questions and take my money. The place was empty. Service was horrible. Won't go back.

Food can be a bit greasy.....but once you tried, you are hooked !! I am going back!

I must say that I was really impress by the Food. This is a REAL WHOLE IN THE WALL. No need to pack any metal to visit this place. I would not recommend eating in as it does not have tables. The garlic butter they have its incredible. I promise you that the food is really addictive. The price was extremely reasonable for being fresh seafood. I was really surprise that they heat up the food in the microwave. I was getting ready to leave. The person next to me said "you are going to regret if you leave" She was not kidding. The portion was so big that I brought half of my food home. Everyone was fighting for the left overs.

Loved the food and awesome value. The place is a rundown spot in carol city but don't be mislead by that. Once you get over the appearance, the place is a gem. Great service and very helpful worker. I don't know if it was the owner himself he was very courteous and cool. Tried the garlic blue crabs and the sampler which comes with shrimp and crabs as well. Medium spice sauce was added and since it's a takeout place I was on my way with the price to watch football all day Sunday. The only regret i have is not ordering more since it was gone by the first quarter of the game. Medium is spiced just right so if you like it hotter make sure you get the step above. While I was at the establishment a drunk guy asked what I ordered and suggested the alligator bites. I don't know if he was playing or not but if it has this southern flavor I would. By the way I used a groupon so 2 orders of crabs and shrimp came out to under $20 and it tasted better than Joes stone crab at the beach. For this reason I rate it a 5 in my humble opinion. :)

This place is delicious. The food is top notch, you can taste that this stuff is fresh and cooked right. The blue crab was especially great. I've gotta say, this is some of the best seafood around. The interior could use a little bit of work, but I'm here to eat, and Tali takes care of that. Ive also gotta commend the service here, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. If you are hungry, and in the area, definitely check this place out.

I bought 8 pounds of live blue crab here for 2.99 a pound because it was on sale. I also wanted snow crabs but he told me he doesn't sell those by the pound only out of those restaurant take home trays which I thought was way overpriced. So I left fairly happy that I got my blue crabs but that's all I got wish he sold the snow crabs and more fresh seafood by the pound because if his price was right I would have bought more seafood while I was down there.

My family and I LOVE a tasty crab and when I saw that this place opened I knew we had to try it. I picked up some garlic blue crabs for us to try (not much, just a sample)and the guy behinh\d the counter asked, "Is this your first time here?" I replied, "Yes," and he responded, "You'll be coming back." He was right - the crab was a smash with my family and I, including my sister who is a bog crab snob. They were just upset that I didn't get more - something I'll have to remedy on my next visit. Maybe I'll even try the snow and golden crabs. As for the actual establishment, the prices are great and the staff was friendly. PS: Just so there is no confusion, this is strictly a take out place. So it's perfect for a night in.
